HANS BOODT MANNEQUINS X ISPO MUNICH
From 3-5 December 2024, the Hans Boodt Mannequins team joined the pioneers of the sports industry at ISPO Munich. This visionary trade show, imbued with a festival atmosphere and community spirit, continues to be the venue for the latest trends and groundbreaking innovations.
We set up shop in the epicenter of the exhibition, Hall B1, where ISPO 520M by Highsnobiety was setting the stage to jointly shape the future of outdoor, fashion, and culture. In the same hall, the inspirational Zeitgeist by ISPO presentation concept offered various up and coming brands a platform to elevate the momentum of sportswear with their innovative designs and concepts.
With the message we wanted to get across, we were exactly in the right place.
There is hardly any other industry that is so much impacted by climate change as the winter sports industry. Sustainability therefor, is a key conversation driver and so, the decision to present the future of sustainable mannequins at ISPO Munich 2024 has been a conscious choice.
SYNTHESIS©
We selected several of the most suitable winter sports poses from our extensive sports mannequins collection to present our groundbreaking manufacturing process SYNTHESIS, and our unique, proprietary compound SYNERGY.
The feedback has been amazing. Our existing brand partners were as pleasantly surprised as many of the new contacts we made during the show, from literally all over the globe.
It sometimes took a while for people to understand that the life-size models we had on display were actual 3D printed mannequins. Taking everyone by the hand, explaining every step of the way in terms of process and materialization, we made clear that manufacturing impact-resistant 3D printed mannequins is no longer just a concept, it is a reality.
And the best part of the story is that it is truly a 100% circular solution. Using 100% recycled material, we print complete mannequins that, at the end of their lifespan, can be scrapped and turned into new mannequins again.
For the moment, the 5 colors presented at ISPO are the actual validated compounds available to the market. Currently, there is a selection of sports poses already available on demand in any of these colors, and we’ll gradually make mare sport poses available in the coming months.
